Stilbite on Apophyllite (excellent color!)

Item Description

This was from an old pocket with intense color, and a hue of red to the usual pale pink or peachy stilbites - very rare to find on the market today! Colorfully emplaced on chalky white apophyllite crystals, to 1 cm across, are flowery crystals of lustrous, salmon colored stilbite crystals to 2.7 cm in length. There is also a classic "bow tie" stilbite 5 cm in length, laying flat on the surface of the apophyllite crystals. Neat color and arhcitectural contrasts.
