Item Description

A cool matrix specimen of Stilbite on matrix simply labeled as coming from Washington state. Several, pearly, sharp, well-formed, prismatic, stark white colored "sheaf"-like crystals of Stilbite measuring up to 2.4 cm on minor basalt. Good quality all around with virtually no damage. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#5063). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
