Stilbite (classic material) (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

A classic old specimen of the famous Stilbites from the Berufjord in Iceland. Sharp, white, lustrous / pearlescent "sheaves" of Stilbite in a semi "bow tie"-shaped group with very minor matrix. Great quality all around, and very good sized for the material. Only a tiny bit of damage, but the piece is in superb shape overall. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#7712). Kay was a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics. She nearly lived 100 years from April 1920 - March 2020.
