Stilbite cast after Okenite (rare!)

Exotic and rare pseudomorph from the famous basalt quarries of the Pune District. Pearlescent ivory and bone-white Stilbite blades have casted (epimorphs) two intergrown Okenite hemispheres. The impressive large pseudo really dominates the piece. A fantastic and pristine 360-degree small cabinet. The couple of holes in the stilbite blades and the striking cavernous bottom view with contrasting green Celadonite add much character. A superb and rare pseudomorph from the Ken Roberts Pseudomorph Collection. We obtained a few of these - looks like Ken kept the pocket for himself, in some part. This is one of the best of them. Valued by Ken at $1250 over 3 years ago. It is certainly worth more today. A MUST for the pseudomorph, Zeolite or India collector.
