Item Description

A beautiful group of peachy-pink golden colored Stilbite-(Ca) sheaves, some of which have formed attractive "bow tie"-shaped aggregates very aesthetically intergrown and associated with small Chalcedony stalactites and "blue" Chalcedony on the matrix to create this incredibly three-dimensional display specimen. The piece is in great shape with no major damage that I can find. The largest Stilbite measures 4.5 cm long. Indian Zeolites may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant ! From the collection of Richard A. Kosnar, renowned mineral dealer from Colorado, and the namesake for the phosphate Kosnarite.
