Stilbite-(Ca) (''bow tie'') with Fluorapophyllite-(K)

A highly aesthetic and good-looking association specimen of this classic material from India featuring a ''bow tie''-shaped group of soft peach colored crystals of Stilbite-(Ca) with very sharp, highly lustrous, thick/blocky beautiful light yellow-green and colorless Fluorapophyllite-(K) crystals, free of matrix. The Stilbite "bow tie" measures 9.7 cm long. The piece is in very good shape overall, with only a little roughness in a few spots where the piece was removed from the pocket. The displayability is wonderful as you can see from the video. Indian Zeolites (and associated species - Apophyllite is not a Zeolite) may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant ! It's almost important to note that most crystals of Apophyllite around the world are either white or colorless, and GREEN crystals like this are rare, so to find big showy display piece with such colorful Apophyllite crystals is significant.
