Item Description

Here we a big, robust showy, and good quality specimen of Stilbite-Ca from Jalgaon, India featuring a coverage of rich orange-pink colored aggregates with fine vitreous luster, free of matrix. The piece is crystallized all over, but please note that the top is contacted (presumably where it was connected to the pocket wall), but it can be displayed at eye-level in a way that the contact is not eminently visible. The color, size and overall visceral appeal make it quite an alluring example of this well-known material. Indian Zeolites might be fairly plentiful on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are truly world-class representations of their respective species. There really isn't another place on the planet that has produced so many world-class Stilbites like the Deccan Trap.
