Burnt-orange, spherical clusters of lustrous, translucent, stilbite blades cover the 3-dimensional, undulating basalt matrix on this impressive large specimen from this well-known locale. A bit of noted scattered bruising is certainly only a modest detraction to this rich large specimen. The basalt cliffs surrounding Nova Scotia's famous Bay of Fundy are renowned for excellent Zeolite Group specimens and this is a very rich, classic and excellent large example of stilbite. Old material, a classic!
