Stilbite bowties on Mordenite

An impressive and aesthetic CABINET specimen of intergrown stilbite crystal bowties and cauliflower-like crystals on a thin matrix crust of modenite, an uncommon zeolite species. The tan to light salmon-pink crystals are highly lustrous and translucent and the large bowtie is 9.2 cm. Super-trivial rubbing on the bowtie is barely noticeable and is certainly not a detraction. A classic, excellent and large stilbite specimen from Jalgaon with three fine display views. The variety and quality of Jalgaon zeolites is incredible.
