Here we have a good quality Stilbite from Aurangabad featuring beautiful, gemmy, soft golden colored, translucent crystals, some of which have formed a "bow tie"-shaped aggregate very aesthetically intergrown with additional "sheaf"-like aggregates of Stilbite free of matrix. The piece is in great shape overall and the displayability is very good. The Stilbite bow tie measures 3.5 cm long. Indian Zeolites may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant !
