Stilbite & Apophyllite on Chalcedony stalactite (Soregaroli Coll.)

Item Description

An adorable and surreal combination specimen from Aurangabad. A striking crossed pair of doubly terminated, pearlescent, light pink stilbite blades with numerous, colorless, gem apophyllite crystals with sharp pyramidal terminations are dramatically attached to a thin chalcedony stalactite included with green celadonite. Both ends of the stalactite show the tube, where the precipitating fluids flowed. Very nifty. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. It' hard to tell, that one of the small apophyllites attached to a stilbite has a cleaved face. Exquisite material from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
