Item Description

Striking and unusual, pinwheel-like bowties of pearlescent, translucent, creamy stilbite crystals are very aesthetically arranged on the sculptural, large, thin basalt matrix covered with contrasting bone-white Mordenite, another Zeolite Group species. The rounded form and placement of these bowties is very uncommon and captivating against the mordenite. Choice, rare style material from the Rock Currier Collection No. 4514.
