When it comes to zeolite minerals, the quality and quantity of specimens from India is unsurpassed. This piece is a classic example of the famous Stilbites from Pune featuring a fine quality group of soft peach colored, very lustrous, well-formed, "broadsword"-shaped crystals measuring up to 6.5 cm, sitting on a stalactitic group of Chalcedony. No major damage that I can find on the Stilbite group. The piece can be displayed beautifully from a few angles, as you can see from the video. From the collection of Vasco Trancoso, a medical doctor and prominent mineral collector from near Lisbon, Portugal (https://www.mindat.org/user-11954.html). He assembled his mineral collection over the course of 60 years, and built a fine worldwide display collection that we recently purchased.
