Stichtite is a rare hydrated Mg-Cr carbonate. It is EXTREMELY RARE from an Brazilian locality and MINDAT does not list this Minas Gerais locality. A striking lavender stichtite vein and lavender stichtite richly covers the chromite matrix on this rich chromite ore rarity from the Matioli Collection. Comes with a copy of his label.
