Stibnite with Dolomite & Chalcedony

Item Description

Elegant 360-degree diverging sprays of splendent metallic variably-sized stibnite prisms forms a very aesthetic small cabinet. The large crystal is 6.0 cm tall and the protruding small bent stibnite really adds character. All of the major crystals are terminated and pristine. Some of the stibnites are enhanced with a beautiful blue iridescence depending on the light incidence and angle. The stibnite prisms rest on a very complementary and contrasting matrix of creamy Dolomite and drusy gray Chalcedony. Stibnite specimens from here are considered historic Chinese classics and this is a very fine example with classic diverging form accented with dolomite and chalcedony.
