Item Description
Dramatic, large crossed pair of stibnite spearpoints from the Xikuangshan deposit, the world's largest antimony deposit. The sculptural pristine crystals have typical metallic luster. The partial coatings of creamy baryte with a few tiny glassy calcite crystals plus the nifty curved tip to the small stibnite add much character and contrast. Ex Kurt Hefendehl China Collection No. 317. Sharp spearpoint terminations of this quality are uncommon from here and this is an exceptional example.
