An old classic! Stout, highly lustrous, metallic stibnite blades in an intergrown, radiating spray form a fine specimen from the Baia Sprie Mine of Romania. These stibnite blades are much broader, than typical Romanian stibnites and are far less common. For such dense crystallization, this complete all-around piece has very few broken crystals. Definitely above average for the style and locale. Probably from the 1980s and not available today, except in recycled collections. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
