Item Description

Matrix stibnite specimens from Raura are very uncommon and are rarely on the market. This sculptural and aesthetic large specimen features striking sprays dramatically scattered on the matrix plate. Sharp prismatic blades, to 6.2 cm, have rounded terminations, satiny luster and lead-gray color. An exceptional and rare specimen from the early 1980s finds, that is essentially pristine, except for modest periphery wear. Ex Ernie Schlichter Collection. His label on the back says Casapalca (VERY rare from here), but this piece is undoubtedly from Raura.
