Stibnite & Quartz (uncommon)

Item Description

Isolated sprays of splendent, metallic, stibnite prisms are dramatically set on the sparkly drusy quartz covered matrix plate on this amazingly sculptural specimen from recent Chinese finds. A few of the stibnites are slight curved, adding pizzazz. The contacted tip to the dramatic central spray and trivial periphery wear are certainly only modest detractions to this exceptional example. The MINDAT photo gallery for this famous mine does not feature any specimens with quartz, making this a very showy and uncommon combination. Valued by the former dealer at $350.
