Item Description

An exceptionally aesthetic and very uncommon in this quality, 360-degree stibnite and quartz small cabinet combination from the historic polymetallic mines at Baia Sprie. Striking diverging sprays of splendent metallic stibnite blades are dramatically set on the sculptural cluster of translucent milky quartz crystals with gemmy terminations, to 6.2 cm. The stibnite blades, to about 4.0 cm, are beautifully enhanced with blue-purple iridescence, under bright light. The piece displays well without aid.
