Stibnite on matrix (hard to find) (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Before China, these were some of the best Stibnites to hit the market in a long time. This specimen comprises dozens of highly lustrous, sharp, silvery sword shaped crystals of Stibnite forming a very aesthetic crystal "spray" which are aesthetically sitting on matrix. A great classic Boilvian Stibnite specimen and very showy to boot. The piece displays very well without the aid of clay or a base.. This specimen came out about 30 years ago when there was a large find of some superb Stibnites from this mine. You don't see many of these pieces on matrix with such great three-dimensional showiness. A few of the crystals are contacted, which is par for the course with these specimens, but certainly better than the majority of them we've seen.
