Item Description

An incredibly hard to find and HISTORIC specimen of Stibnite from the Rudolf Mine in Pribram, Czech Republic. A group of thin, prismatic, metallic silvery-grey crystals are studded by small sparkling Quartz crystals. I have never seen a specimen of Stibnite from this locality, and it is completely validated by the classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value. The label states that this is a very rare specimen that dates to 1878. You can read Joe's biography here: http://www.minrec.org/labels.asp?colid=1371
