Item Description

Manhattan, Nevada stibnites are considered to be the finest US stibnites. Specimens date back 40-75 years, in general, though some are thought to be even older I was once told. The blades on this excellent, competition-level miniature have splendent, metallic luster, are well-striated and have a subtle and pretty iridescence. The large blade has a fine sharp termination. The termination on the secondary crystal is slightly broken and some contacting is noted, nearly all on the backside. Still, for its display quality opverall and the robust habit for a US locale, this is a very fine example of this classic material; and is seldom available in such stout crystals of this quality.
