Item Description
An impressive and sculptural large specimen of stibnite "porcupine quills" from the famous Herja Mine. Striking radial sprays of broad, splendent, dark metallic-gray, stibnite blades in a very dense pattern form a dramatic specimen on this showy and excellent combination example from the famous Herja Mine. Patches of gray dolomite or calcite crystals on the back are a nice and typical accessory. Complete all-around and in great shape, for such incredible crystal density, with very few broken crystals. A very fine and classic 360-degree example from the 1980s finds from the Paul Zerfass Collection # 160. Valued at $1250-1500 for size and quality.
