Item Description

An impressive and elegant specimen from the infamous best of species pocket found in 2003 - with a memorable shape that just leaps out, when on display! These have a specific combination of qualities - shape, luster - perfection; and a fancy termination. Forming a perfect "V", we have two balanced crystals of lustrous, silvery gray stibnite to 21.5 cm in length, wreathed at their base by smaller stibnite crystals. There are bigger, heavier, etc. etc. but... It is a minimalist elegance, and yet fills the space and impacts on the shelf. A fine example from the best stibnite finds of China. Valued $7500-9500
