Item Description
Striking opposing intergrown diverging jackstraw sprays of splendent metallic stibnite needles are dramatically and aesthetically set on the sculptural quartz-rich matrix on this showy and excellent small cabinet. Needles in the dominating large spray reach about 2.5 cm. Stibnite from the well-known extinct open pit Au-Ag-Pb-Hg-Sb McLaughlin Mine (Manhattan Mine) is a classic California species. These are some of the finest California stibnites and this is an fine example.
