Stibnite & Calcite (excellent) ex Obodda

A fabulously sculptural and aesthetic large combination stibnite cluster from this obscure Chinese locale. The sharply terminated, brilliantly lustrous, well-striated, metallic blade is dramtically accented by the fantastically bent stibnites preferentially coated with tiny, creamy calcite rhombs. The back of the piece is richly covered with calcite. The trivial bit of termination edge rubbing and modest contacting on the front of the large blade are noted, but certainly have only minimal impact to the overal superb aethetic quality of this outstanding piece. This is one of the most architectural stibnite clusters in this size we have seen from any locale. Choice material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
