Stibnite & Barite on Quartz ex Obodda

Stibnite and barite on quartz specimens of this outstanding quality and large size are RARE from Baiut. Dramatic isolated sprays of splendent, silver-metallic stibnite blades and needles are aesthetically scattered on the mounded drusy quartz matrix. Scattered, thin wafer-like, water-clear to translucent, barite blades are a super accent. The large stibnite is 2.2 cm and the large barite is 1.1 cm. The modest bit of bruising to the stibnite sprays is noted, but certainly has very minimal impact to the very fine quality of this combination rarity. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and probably dates to the 1980s.
