Item Description

An attractive and now seldom-seen Stibnite specimen dating back to a discovery in the early 1980s when some very impressive Stibnites were found at the Salvadora Mine. Keep in mind that these pieces preceded the big discovery in China about 20 years ago, so they made a big splash when they hit the market, as they were some of the best Stibnites found in a long time. This piece features a handful of prismatic, highly lustrous, sharp, silvery sword shaped Stibnite crystals which have formed in an attractive "spray". Fine condition overall, and showy with good quality crystals.
