Stibnite

Item Description

A rare California Stibnite specimen, accompanied by a small scrap of paper that said it was from Lake County, California, most likely from the Sulphur Bank Mine, but I'm just leaving it at Lake County for now. A few radiating acicular "sprays" of silver Stibnite can be seen in gaps of the fractured matrix. If you collect sulfides, California minerals or just odd U.S. specimens, don't miss out on this one!
