Visually stimulating display of multiple radiating Stibnite fansprays forming a statuesque skyline across this large cabinet specimen, enhanced by sparkly association with quartz - and that makes all the difference to appreciating a piece from this old find! The contrasting association of the sparkling sugary Quartz druze on both the Stibnite and the remaining matrix exhibit the unique style seen from this lesser known China locality that produced in the late 1990s and perhaps early 2000s. The specimen consists of acicular to blade sized crystals, up to a 7.2 cm long sword at a 45 degree angle, of terminated, stainless steel-grey metallic Stibnites. There are a few broken crystals, as is typical and acceptable with these large specimens. The abundantly more well terminated crystals as well as several curved and bent growth crystals continue to catch the eye throughout the piece. The added sparkle of the preferential Quartz druze covering sets this specimen apart giving it that extra little "pop". Ex. Paul Zerfass Collection # 109.
