Stibiotantalite is a REE oxide. It is an uncommon accessory mineral in complex granitic pegmatites. A terminated, tabular, translucent, honey-brown crystal with waxy luster is attractively cloaked and accented with classic "Himalaya pink" elbaite crystals and a smaller stibiotantalite crystal.
