Stibiconite pseudomorph after Stibnite (excellent)

A near large cabinet sized example of what are some of the most recognizable pseudomorphs from any locality in Mexico. These crystals are undoubtedly the best-known example of Stibiconite pseudomorphing Stibnite from anywhere. This is a very impressive representation of these old classics, featuring a robust, "sword"-shaped single prismatic crystal of what was formerly Stibnite, now replaced by soft silvery-yellow-white colored Stibiconite on the exterior. The original form of the Stibnite crystals is notably well-preserved, especially on the sharp, distinct termination, and elegant striations along the prism. The crystal is complete on all sides, and looks beautiful from the front and back. These are rarely seen in today's market, and are celebrated by both pseudomorph collectors and Mexican mineral collectors for their amazing size and quality.
