Item Description
Stibarsen is a rare native alloy of arsenic and antimony. Two patches of metallic, tin-white, indistinct crystals are aesthetically set in the botryoidal matte surface of allementite I, a mixture of antimony and stibarsen. The label states that the stibarsen is the tin white colored material sitting in "allementite I" matrix. This is one of only a handful of pieces of this species that we've seen, and comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak/Pequa Rare Minerals. You can read Joe's biography here: http://www.minrec.org/labels.asp?colid=1371.
