Item Description
A SUPERB and RARE stephanite and fluorite combination from Fresnillo. A striking cluster of sharp, lustrous very robust stephanite crystals is beautifully complimented with RARE glassy, translucent, light lavender fluorite crystals. These are splendent and well formed crystals of the rare silver species stephanite, which exhibits complex growth with some faces have striking iridescence. The specimen can also be displayed from its back side. The attachment is at the base and part of the back. The front is complete save only for a hard-to-see corner bruise by the fluorites. A competition quality specimen and superb for quality of RARE combination species rarely seen at this level of perfection in large crystals. A major find, as even the level is known on the vein.
