Stellerite (superb & rare)

Glorious spheres of pearlescent, translucent, bone-white, orthorhombic, stellerite crystals form a dramatic branching ribbon in the curved basalt vug on this superb and aesthetic large specimen from Pune. The large ball is 3.0 cm across. Stellerite is uncommon from Pune and this is an outstanding example. The piece looks fabulous from three directions! One end of the vug is curved adding character (where the cluster is at). Certainly one of the finest large Indian zeolite rarities we have offered at auction. Valued at $1500 and worth it.
