Item Description

A dramatically sculptural and uncommon large combination from Jalgaon. The impressive elongated vug in basalt matrix hosts a striking, well-placed, 5.5 cm, lustrous, translucent, cream-colored stellerite ball at the vug entrance with a 2.0 cm stilbite blade at the very front. Deep in the recess of the vug are two more stilbite blades, to 2.3 cm, adding pizzazz. The vug is lined with unusual radial clusters of popcorn-like glassy chalcedony spikes. A fascinating, certainly artistic and uncommon large combination from Jalgaon.
