Item Description
This striking pinwheel of pearlescent, translucent, salmon-pink, stellerite blades is richly dusted with green celadonite microcrystals. The form of this two-sided specimen is surreal and unique. It looks like a bladed ammonite or snail shell. The front has a very nifty, chatoyant luster, when the piece is rotated. Celadonite is a relatively uncommon mica group mineral. A minimal bit of edgewear is noted on the front and the specimen contact is on the middle of the back, but neither have significant impact on the overall dramatic quality of this piece. Choice, extremely showy and uncommon material from Jalgaon.
