Item Description

A 3.5 cm cute and sculptural "pinwheel" of pearlescent, translucent, stellerite blades is aesthetically set on a matrix plate of snow-white mordenite on a thin basalt matrix. Stellerite is a rare Zeolite Group species from Aurangabad compared to apophyllite and stilbite. Mordenite is another Zeolite Group species. A fine example of the combination species and locale.
