Item Description
A rare old combination piece from early exports at this famous Chinese mineral locality for smoky quartz and pyrite, more than for zeolites. Good zeolites are rare in China, and this is interesting because of the combo with both smoky quartz and epidote - both being rare zeolite associated minerals. It is a beautiful carpet of sparkly green drizzles of epidote, on smoky quartz and feldspar matrix. The 2-3 mm stellerites in rich golden color, add accent. Late 90s or early 2000s material, often mislabelled as being from Meigu, Fujian.
