Item Description

A showy small cabinet specimen of Stellerite from an obscure trap rock quarry in the Rio Grande do Sul State of Brazil. This attractive and rare piece (for Brazil) is composed of two pinkish-red, somewhat fanned, elongate and heavily grooved, components that are 7.0 and 5.8 cm, respectively. They display a fabulous pinkish red almost pearlescent luster that we rarely see in Stellerite/Stilbite that is somewhat unique to this occurrence. It is a very aesthetic grouping with the larger crystal overlying the smaller for great composition. From a rare Brazilian Zeolite find that we rarely, if ever, see on the market! Large and showy, for what this is.
