Item Description
An incredibly rare specimen of the hydrated aluminum vanadate, Steigerite from the type locaity in Colorado, which was originally discovered in 1935. A thin yellow cryptocrystalline area of Steigerite can be found on host rock matrix. This is the only piece of this species that we've seen from Colorado and comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
