Item Description
An unusually large, robust and uncommon floater staurolite twin from the Kola Peninsula. This is an intergrown pair of 60 degree "x" twins. The crystals are sharp, highly lustrous and complete all-around, with only one point of contacting. Excellent material from the Schlichter Collection.
