Item Description

A beautiful specimen of the classic Staurolites from Russia featuring well-formed, golden-brown prismatic crystals measuring up to 4.6 cm on micaceous matrix. There is a lovely "cross"-twin on the side of the specimen, a classic twinning style for the species, and one of the signature examples of crystal twinning in the mineral world. No major damage.
