Staurolite (twin)

Item Description

A sharp, well-formed, penetration twin of Staurolite from Hondo Canyon in New Mexico. The piece is a complete "floater" with minor attached schist matrix. The external bronze color makes it very attractive. If you collect New Mexico minerals or general thumbnails, this is a worthwhile piece to pick up. From and old East Coast collection, and comes with a label from recently deceased mineral dealer, Larry Conklin of New York City.
