Item Description
A 2.5 cm, sharp, lustrous, brown, staurolite crystal is aesthetically set in CABINET matrix of sculptural, sparkly, biotite schist. Staurolite is known from the much less common Petaca District of New Mexico, but is rarely seen and is very rare on the market. Smaller staurolites are scattered on both the front and back of the matrix. Old-time material from the Mullane Collection.
