Item Description

A stout 5.4 cm staurolite crystals dominates this classic penetration-twinned "X" or "cross" of sharp, doubly terminated staurolite crystals nicely set on sparkly muscovite schist from this well-known locale. The super X on the front is minimally impacted by the tip contacting and the stout large crystal spills over onto the back. The crystals also come as cruciform twins from here. This is a fine, highly representative example of the species and locale.
