An impressive, sculptural and colorful large example of the so-called "star mica" which occasionally comes from here, named for its complex habit which makes the individual crystals, when they stand out, look like little stars. Pearlescent straw-yellow blades totally cover this very artistic 360-degree specimen against the contrasting bit of albite matrix on this most excellent piece. Essentially pristine.
