Glassy, water-clear to translucent, colorless to faint pink (hematite tinting), elongated calcite rhombs with fabulous, stepped-growth faces form a striking and beautiful mounded specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. This is a classic, desirable form of Tsumeb calcite. Essentially pristine. Ex Willy Israel Collection and acquired from Clive Queit in 1984, according to his label. Valued at $500.
