Item Description
A very rarely seen specimen of lilac-pink colored Spodumene (var: Kunzite) on Smoky Quartz matrix from a 2013 discovery at the Haapaluoma Pegmatite in Finland. The Kunzite measures 1.7 cm long. The dark blue mineral is Apatite according to similar specimens I found for comparison. While the crystal itself is not textbook example, you can still see the outlines of its form, and it's not damage, though rounded. If you collect pegmatite minerals, specimens of Kunzite, or you just like oddball locality pieces, don't miss out on this one.
